POWER Hour at Boydton Elementary

Power Hour at Boydton Elementary is PLUGGED in!!  Mrs. Hester and Mrs. Gardner are using traditional and 21st century teaching tools to prepare their students for the SOL.  Students enjoy dancing into the room to songs played on the teachers' ipod.  The teachers also use the mp3 player to transition between activities.

The students LOVE using the SMARTboard to practice testing strategies while preparing for the Reading SOL.  The students were all excited and engaged as Mrs. Hester and Mrs. Gardner posed questions and allows each student to come up to the board!

The teachers are in innovative and their students are engaged and happy to be learning.  GO Boydton!!!!!!!!!
